What these documents are
Each document is a concise overview of current recommendations for a specific medical specialty, translated into Russian. The documents are organized by clinical topics (diagnosis, treatment goals, drug therapy, special patient groups) and include a section titled “What Has Changed”—a comparison with the previous version of the recommendations from the same society.
Why this is important
International clinical guidelines are published in English and often remain difficult for practicing physicians to access in their day-to-day clinical work. Meanwhile, it is precisely these guidelines that reflect the current state of evidence-based medicine and often differ significantly from earlier versions: diagnostic thresholds change, new classes of drugs emerge, and indications and target levels are revised.
The purpose of this section is to provide general practitioners, internists, cardiologists, and other specialists with a convenient navigation tool: a structured cheat sheet that allows them to quickly navigate the key provisions of current international guidelines.
Important Note
These materials are a summarized retelling of primary sources in our own words and do not constitute clinical recommendations from the NMA of Kazakhstan, official translations, or independent regulatory documents. For clinical decisions, please refer to the full texts of the original guidelines. Before using any material for educational or public purposes, it is recommended that it be reviewed by a relevant specialist.
